Learning To Live Green Will Start To Pay In So Many Ways!
Going green involves finding things to do that you can actually implement in the course of everyday life. Starting out with simple things that you know you will continue to do in your daily routine is the most effective way to start living green. What better way to do that, than to take a more active interest in the things you eat and regularly take into your body. This blog will continually address a variety of food and shopping issues, as they relate to greener living.
Living green is a goal that many people have committed to working towards. Wendy Abrams is an environmental activist from Chicago who inspired a project that has gained national popularity. As a mother of four children, she has a longsighted and vested interest in the future of our planet. Abrams is responsible for the “Cool Globes” that have been exhibited in a number of different states. These visual displays highlight the different ways that people can live a greener life. The “Cool Globes” project has many supporters including the Toyota Corporation.
HOW TO TURN GREEN
This Blog Focuses on the many things you can do to "Go Green" - "Be Green" - "Live Green"
I'd love to see some personal experiences and epiphanies on what makes a person "Turn Green"

Why California's Ban On Plastic Grocery Bags Delayed
Greetings & Salutations,
I've decided to try and provide some news tidbits about what's happening on the green scene, locally. Local for me that is, since I reside in sunny California.
California's Plastic Bag Ban On Hold
It looks like California residents are awaiting the results of a pending lawsuit about plastic grocery carrier bags. Although it is Oakland California that has the pending suit, the final outcome may actually affect other states as well. This suit is surrounding the huge issue of banning single-use plastic bags, and also what role single-use paper bags should play in all this. You can read the details about this story and pick a side, or a bag, or not.
In order to be in a better position to do your part for green living, try to stay abreast of related issues. There is so much going on in the area of green living, it may seem overwhelming to try and keep up, so just try to at least know what's going on in your own locality. This way, you can continue to use your imagination to think of additional, yet practical ideals, to help you save, conserve, reuse and recycle.
